Trustees Meetings

Hamilton Lodge Trustees met on Friday 30 January 2026 for the first of their twice-yearly Trustees’ Strategic Planning Days. These meetings are a mixture of learning input from senior staff and charity work.

The morning session included training by the School Improvement Advisor, Lorraine Slee and Development Plan updates by the Head Teacher, Maree Rhodes. This was followed by a question-and-answer session.

The afternoon session focused on strategic planning using the information from the morning sessions and other recent Trustee engagements with the school and residential setting, such as governor meetings and monitoring visits.

Trustees meet once a month and have their Strategic Planning Days twice a year, in addition to their regular information sharing as issues arise. The next Strategic Planning Day is scheduled for 23 June 2026. There are Governors’ meetings three times a year, during the penultimate week of each term.
