Our school is a charity and therefore has a board of trustees in addition to our school governors.

The trustees are accountable to the charity commission.

Trustees and Governors meet formally 3 times a year and undertake individual visits throughout the year.

Vacancies: Trustees and Governors

We are currently seeking new Trustees and Governors to join our friendly Board. In addition to fulfilling the statutory duties of a Charity Trustee, each is expected to use their skills, knowledge, and experience to help us reach sound decisions in the governance of the Charity and the School & College.

We are particularly keen to develop its expertise in:

  • Finance
  • Human resources
  • Business management
  • Information technology
  • Health and residential care issues

Time commitment: Board meetings are held three times a year and a whole day is required each time. Each Trustee has an area of responsibility and the time commitment for this is variable but usually no more than a few hours every couple of months.
